Motorola: Which choice DROID RAZR or DROID RAZR MAXX

DROID RAZR and DROID RAZR MAXX are awesome smartphones, there's no doubt about that, but when you compare them to the latest beasts on the market, there's one thing about them that sticks out like a sore thumb the display. You see, while every top end handset that comes out nowadays has one of those fancy HD resolution (720x1280) displays, while Moto's reborn RAZRs only sport qHD, which is 540x960 pixels. Thankfully, a new device might be on its way to fix that.

According to a leaked document, a new DROID RAZR HD model is in the works, upping the pixel count quite a bit.  Of course, the upgraded screen won't be the only improvement in the RAZR HD. The leaked EXIF data also suggests a camera with f/2.4 aperture and focal length of 5mm. While no other details on the hardware front have been revealed, the doc does tell us about a 4.0.3 ICS build coming out of the box. Not that we'd have expected the RAZR HD to come with anything older than that. By the way, this piece of news has been brought to you courtesy of some pictures stored in the Picasa account of Vic Yu - program manager at Motorola, but of course, that doesn't mean that it's 100% legitimate.

Interestingly, there was a recent photo of a device unofficially called DROID Fighter, which looks like a good candidate to end up as the DROID RAZR HD.
